Story
My employer is Dr. Edwards. She helped the me and the other interns answer questions, take tours, and talk to important people. She works with the mayor and steps in when he is gone.
The Problem
The problem is: How might we make Wyandotte County a place where the younger generations will want to live and raise their families? There are not enough places to go and to be outside.
The Solution
My solution to the problem is to create a walking path. This will be a free place for the community to get outside and have fun.
Target Market
The people that are most affected by this problem is the residents of Wyandotte County. They want the best for their children and a place for them to be safe.
Societal Impact
It will help raise money for other business, get people outside, and help the community get together.
Next Steps
For next steps, we are going to need funding to make it possible. We are also going to need companies and the community's support.
Reflection
I have a new perspective on the community, how it is ran, and what people need the most.
Use of Backer Contributions
We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. I will use the funding for parks, benches, picnic tables, trash/recycling bins, and landscaping.
