The Story.

Innovator(s)

This pitch is an example from our initial beta test competitions. The funding amount and contributions are not actual numbers. The team and submission are real though. Create your own goal and your backers will support it! This pitch story is included below...

We are the 4th-6th grade class at Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center. We are safely behind our walls but there are kids less fortunate on the streets. ¹Most of us classmates know someone who has witnessed a possible abduction. We want to help save their life.

Problem

Kids are being abducted more than ever and very little is being done to prevent abductions.

Solution

The Bodyguard app installs on your phone and has you setup your very own bodyguard. The icon and name must be changed every 6 months to avoid suspicion. If a kid is being abducted they can scream their own code phrase and the phone will secretly call the police and parents and ping their location.

Target Market

Kansas City Missouri/Kansas at risk youth.

Societal Impact

Next Steps

With help and resources, we could buy our own personal computer to design our artwork

Reflection

Every person had a specific job to put all of out ideas together. The only struggle we had was finding out how many kids are targeted by predators.

Use of Backer Contributions
